Privacy watchdog ‘monitoring’ U.S. auto insurance phone tracking lawsuit

The office of Canada's privacy commissioner says it is 'monitoring' a proposed U.S. class-action lawsuit in which some auto insurers are facing allegations of misusing driver data.
Perhaps one of the most controversial issues in Canada is MAID, or medical assistance in dying.
There are people who feel that it’s being offered too readily in cases where death may not be an appropriate course, and others who feel there needs to be expanded access.
One province has decided that the pace of these deaths has gone too far, too fast.
