Construction to extent the Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System pipeline to the Oneida Nation of the Thames will soon be underway after a London, Ont., company won a bid for the federal contract last week. Officials aim for the water to start flowing to the First Nation by next year.
Thousands of federal public servants over the age of 50 — and in some cases 55 — can now apply to retire early without facing financial penalties.
