LRT service on the Eastern section of Line 1 remained offline this morning, as crews clean up Wednesday’s accident near Lees Station. An overhead power line was seen arcing during the early-afternoon commute before a small explosion caused the line to break. It’s not yet clear when all systems will be up and running again, but OC Transpo officials are crossing their fingers for a Friday restart.
