Ottawa Now - Bruyere Health's frontline slated to be hit hard by incoming layoffs
March 12, 2026
Bruyere Health is laying off 55 frontline health workers, according to the Canadian Union of Public Employees. It says the cuts will include 46 personal support workers and 9 nurses. Kristy Cameron digs deeper with Douglas Currier, the President of CUPE Union Local 4540. He is also a Registered Practical Nurse at Bruyere.
