School bus driver sentenced to 60 days jail for fatally striking pedestrian

A school bus driver who struck and killed a 22-year-old pedestrian in a Toronto crosswalk has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and a two-year driving suspension.
Arborist Tyler Sirrs saw social media posts about a cat stuck for days in a tall tree in Orléans and decided to help. He described the rescue to CBC Ottawa Morning host Rebecca Zandbergen.
