Winter’s grip continues across much of Canada; forecasts call for snow, freezing rain

Snow is continuing to fall in parts of Ontario, B.C. and Quebec, with heavy rain and freezing rain expected in some communities in the Maritimes and Ontario.
Although avian flu cases have declined in Quebec over the last few years, biosecurity measures like restricting visitors and disinfecting coops, clothing and boots remain the best deterrent against avian flu.
