Calgary water use climbs above city threshold for 1st time since restrictions imposed

Calgary and surrounding communities used 504 million litres of water on Sunday, ending a six-day streak of water use under the city-imposed daily threshold of 500 million litres.

A Quebec judge says Canada cannot have a separate judicial system for immigrants who come into conflict with the law amid a national debate over the role immigration status plays in sentencing.
