Hour 4 of Ottawa Now for Tues. March 17th, 2026

March 17, 2026

New survey results suggest that Canadians may have reached a tipping point…when it comes to tipping. Commissioned by H&R Block Canada, the data finds that 67 percent of surveyed Canadians believe it's time to abolish tipping altogether. We dig deeper in Hour 4 with Wayne Smith, the Director of the Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Research at Toronto Metropolitan University. Then, Jackie Perez and Stefan Keyes drop by for a preview of tonight’s CTV Ottawa supper-hour newscast. And if news breaks in real time, you’ll hear it live on CFRA’s Ottawa Now.
