In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Toronto Tempo president Teresa Resch heard her phone ring from another room. Sure enough, in a group chat with the WNBA’s other team presidents, news was spreading that there was indeed a deal in principle on a collective bargaining agreement. Now, things are about to get real.
A petition created by a 14-year-old Regina resident opposing plans for an AI data centre has close to 11,000 signatures. Local concerns include environmental impacts and AI ethics.
