City of Hamilton fined $600K for 26-year sewage leak into Hamilton Harbour

The City of Hamilton says it remains committed to improving wastewater and stormwater systems after being slapped with a $600,000 fine for sewage leaking into the Hamilton Harbour for 26 years.
Starting on Wednesday, it will be $5 more for a car and driver sailing between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay, so the new standard rate, with a reservation, will be $110 each way.
