Indigenous people 8 times more likely to be incarcerated than others in N.L., says study

A new study carried out by First Light indicates Indigenous people in Newfoundland and Labrador are incarcerated at a rate eight times higher than their non-Indigenous counterparts.

A survey of 4,000 people conducted by Spark Advocacy's polling arm found that one in four respondents thought it would be a good idea for Canada to formally join the EU.
