Alberta moves to designate official Alberta whisky

Alberta's government is moving to regulate who can slap an official Alberta whisky stamp on whisky produced in the province. Premier Danielle Smith says defining what Alberta whisky is, and protecting it in legislation, will help distillers differentiate their products from other Canadian spirits on the market.
