Perhaps one of the most controversial issues in Canada is MAID, or medical assistance in dying.

There are people who feel that it’s being offered too readily in cases where death may not be an appropriate course, and others who feel there needs to be expanded access.

One province has decided that the pace of these deaths has gone too far, too fast.

National Post politics reporter Rahim Mohamed joins Dave Breakenridge to discuss where MAID is currently at in Canada, why Alberta felt it needed to bring in restrictions, and how those limitations have been perceived.
