Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Wed. April 1st, 2026

April 1, 2026

Canadians across the country are counting down the hours to the Artemis II Moon mission! As you can probably tell, Kristy Cameron is among the excited crowd, as she has the TV’s rolling in the Hal Anthony studio. We check in with Zachary Aubert, a Canadian space blogger from Edmonton. And this outer space superfan is actually covering this historic event – live from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center! Jesse Rogerson, an Astrophysicist at York University, isn’t as live and in-person like Zachary is right now. But he is definitely glued to the TV screen, and also joins us in Hour 2. And finally, Kristy connects with Tim Haltigin, a Senior Mission Scientist in Planetary Exploration at the Canadian Space Agency. He is currently at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum.
