Aircraft runway incursions rise in Canada, but one key metric levels off

So-called runway incursions — when a plane, vehicle or person winds up on or near a runway when they shouldn’t be — hit a record in Canada in 2024.

Of the parents surveyed, 72.6 per cent said they "did not support this belief," while 10.6 per cent stated they did not know and 1.8 per cent said they preferred not to answer.
