Ottawa’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee has unanimously approved a motion that would explore options to allow private bus services to supplement transit options. Rideau-Jock councillor David Brown is calling on City Staff to explore the feasibility of this plan, and connect residents in rural villages to OC Transpo Park-and-Rides and other major hubs. Kristy Cameron chats with Noah Vineberg, the President of Amalgamated Transit Union 279. He outlines his concerns with this transit alternative on today's Ottawa Now.
