Tanker rollover on highway in southern New Brunswick causes 36,000-litre fuel spill

Emergency officials in southern New Brunswick say a tanker truck spilled more than 36,000 litres of fuel when it rolled over on Route 1 near Nauwigewauk.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to name the successor Tuesday to Mary Simon as Canada's 31st governor general since Confederation.

Ontario Provincial Police say they seized drugs with an estimated street value of $4.1 million during a major operation in Cornwall and Montreal last month. The amount of suspected fentanyl recovered equated to "approximately 200,000 potentially lethal street-level doses," according to police.
