Canada's Gabriela Dabrowski using on-court success to help eliminate violence against women

Canadian doubles tennis player Gabriela Dabrowski is donating $20 for every game she wins this season to the 1in3 Fund, aimed at eliminating violence against women. The fund was created after the 2024 murder of Ugandan long-distance runner, Rebecca Cheptegei.

Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra says the province will be working closely with the federal government on a social media ban for kids under a certain age. He also says he is considering implementing an "outright ban" of cellphones on school properties, with some medical exemptions.
