Ottawa Now - New initiative at QCH helps connect newborn babies with primary care providers
April 14, 2026
A new initiative from the Queensway-Carleton Hospital is connecting newborn babies without a family doctor to a primary care provider for the first two years of their lives. And as of today, this pilot project has already helped 216 patients, a number that keeps on growing. Kristy Cameron chats with Ashley Malloff on today’s Ottawa Now. She is the Vice-President of Quality and a Chief Nursing Executive at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.
R-J Barrett's fortuitous winning shot with 1.2 seconds left in Friday's overtime reminded Toronto basketball fans of similar glory days in the NBA playoffs.
