A Toronto man who admitted to killing his mother at a park has been found guilty of second-degree murder after a judge rejected his defence that he was not criminally responsible.

Ontario Provincial Police have identified 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards from Ottawa as the man found fatally injured in Perth's Last Duel Park earlier this month. They did not announce any suspects or arrests.
