Trial begins for former Mountie accused of foreign interference on behalf of China

A former high-ranking RCMP officer pleaded not guilty Monday in B.C. Supreme Court as his trial began on federal charges alleging he pursued a fugitive from China on behalf of that country.
New Premier Christine Fréchette and the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec (FMSQ) made the announcement Monday afternoon.
