Investigation into deaths of 6 Innu youths shows how the system failed them, inquiry hears

A report into the deaths of six youths from the Mushuau Innu First Nation between 2015 and 2020 has found 12 systemic failings — from placements in faraway group homes, to the persistent problem of gas sniffing in their home community.
