Knives, box cutters, even a hacksaw. What weapon detectors uncovered at the Halifax Infirmary

Devices that look for weapons or items that could be used as a weapon were installed at the Halifax Infirmary following a stabbing last year. Some of the items now in the hospital's possession include knives, box cutters, a hacksaw and what one official calls "improvised weapons."
