OPS constable demoted for database searches unrelated to police work

An Ottawa police constable has been demoted after he used police and Ministry of Transportation databases to search for people he knows personally and other members of the public for more than a year.
A social worker, paramedic and nurse practitioner are hitting the roads of Lanark County to catch those who've lost access to service due to precarious housing or mental health issues.
