Ex-Mountie's lawyer claims no evidence showing he'd threatened B.C. fraudster on China's behalf

The Crown has failed to prove William Majcher was taking steps to threaten an alleged B.C.-based fraudster at the behest of the Chinese government, a lawyer for the former Mountie told the judge overseeing Majcher's foreign influence trial Monday.
The CFIA states that American shipments that have already been certified 'will be permitted to enter Canada' following reports of outbreaks of pseudorabies in commercial swine.
