An experimental rock duo from Quebec has exploded in popularity following a performance on a Seattle radio station. Local fans recently flocked to a Gatineau bar to catch the meteoric stars on their ascent.

The Manitoba government is putting up $15 million to help restore a once-iconic, theatre in Winnipeg. The new theatre will have seating for around 1,100 audience members, it said.
