O-Train Line 2 service adjustments on May 2 and 3

April 29, 2026
Some O-Train Line 2 service will be replaced by R2 buses on the mornings of May 2 and 3 to allow for planned work.

On the mornings of Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 a segment of O-Train Line 2 will be temporarily replaced by R2 bus service to allow planned work.

For customers, this means that:

On Saturday, May 2, from 6:30 am to noon:

  • Line 2 trains will operate between Limebank and Greenboro stations.
  • R2 buses will operate between South Keys and Bayview stations.
  • Full Line 2 service will resume at noon between Limebank and Bayview stations.
  • There will be no impact to Line 4 service between South Keys Station and the Airport.

On Sunday, May 3, from 7:30 am to 11 am:

  • Line 2 trains will operate between Limebank and Carleton stations.
  • R2 buses will operate between Carleton and Bayview stations.
  • Full Line 2 service will resume at 11 am between Limebank and Bayview stations.
  • There will be no impact to Line 4 service between South Keys Station and the Airport.

R2 replacement bus service will run at a frequency of approximately every 12 minutes until full Line 2 service resumes.

These service adjustments are required for planned work on components of two rail switches along the line. This work will help to reduce noise levels for nearby residents when trains pass over the switches. Some planned inspections will also take place during this period to minimize service disruptions for customers.

OC Transpo staff will be at key stations to support customers during service adjustments.
