New opioid use disorder guide combines Western science and Indigenous knowledge

As the toxic drug crisis continues to plague communities across northwestern Ontario, First Nations are training community members in best practices for working with those experiencing addiction. Here are some of the highlights of the new Opioid Use Disorder Guide released by the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority.
