Ottawa Now - Jeff Leiper kickstarts his mayoral campaign, lists top priorities

As of right now, 3 candidates are running for Mayor of Ottawa, a list that doesn’t officially include Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. However, Sutcliffe is expected to run again this year. He just has to submit his documentation before he is officially declared a candidate for late-October. Today, we are speaking to the supposed frontrunner to usurp Sutcliffe from his current role, a man who declared his intentions to run many months ago. Oddly enough, he is one of the Mayor's present-day colleagues at Ottawa City Hall. Kitchissippi councillor Jeff Leiper submitted his papers over the weekend and his mayoral campaign is well underway. He goes 1-on-1 with Kristy Cameron and delivers his sales pitch to Ottawa voters.
