Ontario's chief medical officer of health says two Ontario residents who were on a cruise ship with passengers infected with hantavirus are showing no symptoms while isolating in their rural community in the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit area. Dr. Kieran Moore says there is very little risk to the general public. He wants to reassure people that this is not a repeat of the COVID-19 pandemic, though officials are applying lessons learned, especially when it comes to communication and coordination.
Ottawa didn't enforce the federal standard on Alberta's industrial carbon price as a gesture of co-operation with the province, Environment Minister Julie Dabrusin says.
