4 passengers isolating for hantavirus in Victoria are from B.C. and Yukon, top doctor says

Dr. Bonnie Henry said the travellers include a Vancouver Island resident in their 70s, someone in their 50s who is from B.C. but lives abroad, and a Yukon couple in their 70s.

Michael Clairoux, 52, had served just over one year of a life sentence when he died Friday at Millhaven Institution. Correctional Service Canada did not disclose the circumstances of his death.
