'Any child is potentially a target': Northern Ontario police warn about rise in exploitation cases in Canada

Police report online child sexual exploitation cases have risen across Canada over a 10-year period, according to Statistics Canada. In northern Ontario, police services say they're dealing with growing caseloads and increasingly complex investigations amid new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Ottawa police say the woman struck by a vehicle in Barrhaven last week has died. They are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or may have dashcam footage of the incident to contact authorities.
