Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Tues. May 19th, 2026

May 19, 2026

America’s Under-Secretary of Defense says the United States will be pausing a longstanding Military Board with Canada, claiming that its biggest North American neighbour is ‘failing’ to make credible progress on its defense commitments. Retired Major-General David Fraser joins guest host Andrew Pinsent in Hour 3. But first, it’s time to tackle today’s Question of the Day. What should Ontario do with its stockpile of American alcohol? The longer we keep it, the longer it might cost the taxpayers. Text into the show and let us know.
