Searches for unmarked burials at residential schools face funding barriers, tribunal hears

On Day 3 of the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal in Montreal, witnesses gave testimony over the difficulty and complexity of conducting ground searches for unmarked burials at residential schools.
Police said officers were called to intervene when a man was reported to them as unconscious following a physical intervention by the security guard.
