Toronto man given 33-year sentence for sexually exploiting over 140 children in U.S.

A Canadian man has been sentenced in the United States to more than 30 years in prison for what American officials described as a widespread, yearslong sextortion scheme targeting more than 100 children.

AC7664 was enroute from Newark to Halifax on Wednesday afternoon. The captain experienced a medical issue during the flight and it was diverted to Boston. Air Canada says it is working to help its 61 customers who were on the plane make new travel arrangements.
