Prime Minister Mark Carney launched a new faith advisory council to combat antisemitism led by former Senator Marc Gold in a speech at a Toronto synagogue on Monday evening.

AC7664 was enroute from Newark to Halifax on Wednesday afternoon. The captain experienced a medical issue during the flight and it was diverted to Boston. Air Canada says it is working to help its 61 customers who were on the plane make new travel arrangements.
