Carney tells Montreal Victoire players their PWHL championship is an 'inspiration'

Prime Minister Mark Carney praised Professional Women's Hockey League 2026 Walter Cup champions, the Montreal Victoire, for their dominating season. 'Follow your dreams, even if that dream is not possible yet,' said Victoire goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens at the meeting with Carney.
Toronto is hosting both Croatia and Portugal as they prepare to bid goodbye to international icons who aren't likely to play at a World Cup again.
