Artifacts of Victoria's past discovered by crews in sealed compartment beneath street

The old stone wall tucked underneath Wharf Street in Victoria is one of the oldest pieces of the city's colonial past. It contains some forgotten artifacts recently unearthed by a restoration crew.
The search came a day after a man who lived in the complex was linked to the midday shooting that left a Montreal police officer and a bystander dead.
