Canada’s AI strategy doesn’t mention copyright. Ottawa says ‘stay tuned’

The word 'copyright' doesn't appear once in Canada's 50-page AI strategy, despite promises last summer by the minister of artificial intelligence that it would be addressed.

The program, earlier called the Canada Greener Homes Grant program, was first launched by the federal government in 2021, but lapsed in 2024.
