The era of the mini-train is finally over, as Line 1 of Ottawa’s LRT has returned to normal service for the first time in 4 months. During peak hours, one train will arrive every 5 minutes. Most, if not all, of Canada's Governors General have held high-profile positions before becoming GG, and, as it is a "figurehead" appointment, it's time to rethink the salary and perks these people enjoy.
