Manitoba premier announces provincewide disaster financial assistance program for flood damage

Some Manitobans whose homes were damaged by flooding during storms earlier this week will be able to access a disaster financial assistance program fund, Premier Wab Kinew said Thursday.

The MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais police service is asking some residents to remain home on Sunday after several roads were closed due to flooding in the Saint-Pierre-de Wakefield area of Val-des-Monts, Que., including a section of Route 307.
