Two people were taken to hospital Monday following a head-on collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Leitrim and Hawthorne roads in southeast Ottawa, paramedics say.

The 44-year-old man was arrested at the Nashville International Airport on Monday after flying there from Ottawa, the U.S. Attorney's Office wrote in a news release.
