Parents, union raise concerns over EMSB staff cuts for students with special needs

A plan to cut more than 100 positions supporting special needs students within the English Montreal School Board is sparking concern among parents and staff.

The program, earlier called the Canada Greener Homes Grant program, was first launched by the federal government in 2021, but lapsed in 2024.
