Ottawa’s auditor general has released a scathing report into how OC Transpo is planning and scheduling its bus system, saying last year's "New Ways to Bus" changes were based on outdated data and driven by a desire to cut costs.

The bodies of two paramedics who died earlier this week will be brought home to P.E.I. on Friday. Mike MacKenzie and Jenna Croucher were among three people who died Tuesday in a collision in the community of Melrose, N.B., about 12 km southwest of the Confederation Bridge near Port Elgin.
