The City of Mississauga is renaming a park to commemorate a Toronto police officer who was killed in the line of duty last week.

It was the end of May when Mississauga abruptly announced it would rename the Paramount Fine Food Centre, claiming the restaurant, run by Mohamed Fakih, owed it $1.6 million.
