Emergency Room visits related to e-scooters have jumped 50 percent in just one year at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. CTV Ottawa has obtained the latest figures concerning e-scooter and e-bike collisions that were admitted to CHEO for treatment. And now, authorities are urging caution after a scooter rider died Sunday night following a collision with a vehicle near Carling and Fairlawn. Beacon Hill-Cyrville councillor Tim Tierney joins Kristy Cameron in Hour 2. Meantime, Ottawa’s public transit service is in the public headlines today, and perhaps not for good reason. According to a new audit from the City of Ottawa’s Auditor General, OC Transpo’s ‘New Ways To Bus’ campaign was based on outdated data and was more focused on cost savings. This comes as the service moves forward with an ‘ambitious’ staffing plan, even though no vacancy numbers have been released. We check in with our Reality Check Panel.

The Public Works and Infrastructure Committee today received the 2025 Parking Services Annual Report. The report highlights ongoing work to provide affordable, secure, accessible and convenient public parking across Ottawa through the Municipal Parking Management Strategy.
