Families crumble, debts build, kids go without therapy. Stories from Alberta’s waitlist for disability support

An estimated 20,000 Alberta kids are on a waitlist for the Family Support for Children with Disabilities program. In the meantime, parents are losing their jobs or are unable to find work because children are being banned from daycare. They are taking on debt to fund therapy.
