And yes, we caught some first glimpses of Brady in a Panthers jersey, which will feature No. 8 instead of the No. 7 he wore with the Sens. CTV’s Austin Lee joins us with that story in Hour 4. Then, we preview tonight’s CTV Ottawa supper-hour newscast with Jackie Perez and Stefan Keyes. Oh, and circling back to the Senators for a second. Are your governments doing enough to prevent annual wildfires? Speaking to reporters this morning, Ontario Premier Doug Ford says there are 191 active wildfires across the province. He says 81 of those blazes are out of control, adding that it’s a miracle no one has died. At the moment, over 150 crews are in place to fight them, with helicopters and water bombers not far behind. Canada and Mexico will work together to try to get the U.S. to cut auto tariffs on imports from the two countries, Mexico’s foreign affairs secretary said Friday at a meeting with his counterpart in Ottawa.
