Lytton, B.C., man describes harrowing evacuation before Saw Creek fire destroyed his home

The Saw Creek fire, discovered on June 19, continues to burn out of control just south of Lytton — the village in B.C.’s Interior that was destroyed by wildfire around this time five years ago.

The boat, named Big Coast, was a 30-foot aluminum KingFisher and the former owner said he sold it more than four years ago through a dealer, so he never met the new owner.
