B.C. woman sets record at 4,400-km Tour Divide bike race

A cyclist from Kelowna has broken the women's record at the Tour Divide, an event many consider the pinnacle of offroad ultra-distance bike racing.

When Alex Pilon received a $24,274.26 deposit in his bank account last March labelled 'Tax Refund - Canada' he knew it was a mistake, contacted the Canada Revenue Agency and returned the full amount. A year and a half later, the Thunder Bay, Ont., resident has been locked out of his CRA account and still hasn't received the tax refunds he was actually expecting.
